Art Director

You have the vision to tell a great story. To create an unforgettable image. To tell visual stories that turn brands into experiences. You’re an Art Director and you’ve probably been one since you first picked up a Crayola marker and redesigned your family’s living room walls. They loved it, right?

You’re an agile creative. You love collaborating and listening for the nugget that inspires the big idea.  You devour popular culture, and the trends and history of design, advertising and art. You create engaging concept-driven creative. Across any medium. Digital? Yup. Social? Of course. Print? You bet. Storyboards? Um, yah. In store? No doubt. Whatever it takes to solve marketing challenges. You also build presentations and comps that celebrate and sell ideas internally and to clients. And then, you guide the idea into existence by partnering with great photographers, designers, directors, motion designers, editors, printers and developers.

  • 2–4 years professional design experience, ideally in an agency setting
  • Chicago-based preferred, currently remote with plans to return to office in early Q2 2022
